Hooked iPhone case

My iPhone has had an encounter with miss Gravity... it was not love at the first sight! While I am waiting for my date with the magic repair man I decided to make sure that it could not get worse. Hooked a case from leftovers from the 'Happy Hooked Hats'. Nice, soft and thick.. and therefore shock proof :). For the inside I made a small bag to prevent the wool fabric to stretch and my phone to drop out :).

Top Secret...

Spring is in the air! The time has come to finish long lost projects.. first one on the list was this sleeveless silky top. The backside is simple, one button to keep it all together. But the front is where the fun happens :). Cutted out way to wide, cropped up at several places to make it fit :).

It's all in the details... from the left shoulder the 'crop' falls down.

Goes perfectly well with a lion-yellow colored blazer :)

Home made cushion covers

Redecorating my room also ment new bed linen, and new bed linen ment new cushion covers! Because redecorating is not a cheap business I made my new cushion covers myself. The fabric is officially supposed to be used for curtains, so it is thick, good quality. The golden covers are nice and shiny, the black ones are soft because it is a wool-fabric.

Now, because not all of you are as handy with a sewing machine or too busy to be... I have also put them up for sale. For the Dutchies among you, they are on Marktplaats.

For the black one, click here (sold out).

For the golden one, click here.

Black Asymmetric Top

Of course... before I start a late HAPPY NEW YEAR!

First post of 2012, many more to come :).

Meet my black asymmetric top. The materail has a slight stretch. It took just two parts to make it, front and back. On the left side I did not cut out a sleeve, just a huge triangle starting from somewhere between the hip and waistline. After sewing the parts together I put the top on the doll (don't know how to translate 'paspop' into english haha!) and I started modeling it by cropping up the left part to create a sleeve. Because it was a little bit too long the right side is also cropped up to make it really asymmetric :). I already received lots of positive reactions from friends, love it. It is a great party outfit, simple but chic :). And even better, no copy-cats ;)...
